Beth Kirschner has over twenty five years of experience in software development of learning management and collaboration systems, grid computing, digital libraries, and industrial automation. She's been involved in the Sakai project since 2005 as both a developer and manager at the University of Michigan, with special interest in generalized solutions to local problems, using technology to augment but not impede academic teaching and learning, and internationalization. She has served as the chair of the Sakai CLE Technical Coordination Committee (PMC) and been honored as a Sakai Fellow.
