We invite you to engage in every aspect of this week's conference. In addition to attending scheduled meetings, presentations and events, we strongly encourage you to Improvise on Sakai.

Several meeting rooms will be made available throughout the conference for Birds of Feather meetings and other impromptu get togethers and discussions. (To reserve a room, please see the registration desk staff). We've also created a SEPP discussion group for you to use for planning your meetings, and sharing resources and ideas.

The Sakai Project Board members and SEPP staff will be available throughout the conference to make the most of the event with you.

Sakai Partners will be shaping the SEPP future at the New Orleans Conference.

November-26-04 22:36:40

More than 5 hours of the program has been reserved for Discussion Groups. Some groups are active and structured, some just beginning, all need your insight, experience, and judgment.

This is your opportunity to learn, to contribute, and to become an advocate for your view of SEPP’s future. Discussion Group teams will report on the Group's work at a special 1 hour 30 “reports to the partnership” session moderated by Mara Hancock. The DG leaders will meet with the Board before the DG leaders and the Board together respond to the entire partnership in an hour session moderated by Lois Brooks. From idea, to action, to results; the evolution from project to partnership takes another step forward.

Sakai partners will be demonstrating more than twelve software products—authoring tools, search portlets, citation authoring, e-portfolio, and data displays—during the program.

Presentations include the status and direction of the Sakai Project, demonstrations of the Sakai Collaborative Learning Environment, Samigo assessment , and the grade book, Sakai architecture and planned features and functions, pedagogy and course management systems, and an update on OSPI’s e-portfolio,
